Samin Nosrat, ’02, cook, teacher, and author of the James Beard Award-winning, New York Times bestseller Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat. She was named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World and Chef of the Year by Eater. She is the co-host of the Home Cooking podcast, a former Eat columnist at The New York Times Magazine, and host of the Netflix original four-part documentary series based on Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat.
A former Daily Cal writer who learned to cook at Chez Panisse, her second cookbook, Good Things, was published last fall.
