Annette Doornbos
Annette Doornbos capped a career in public interest communications and development as Assistant Dean for External Relations and Development at UC Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy. Brought on board to establish the Goldman School’s first fundraising enterprise, Annette grew and led a department that raised substantial funds and inaugurated a combination of electronic and print publications, a public policy series on the UCTV channel and major public events featuring prominent voices of policy and governance.
Prior to her two-decade Goldman School tenure, Annette created fundraising and communication campaigns for a range of public interest and media organizations. Her initial foray into media and fundraising was at Media Alliance, a membership organization for media producers, where she launched a professional development program for aspiring and early career journalists.
Today, Annette is an advisor to Support Ukraine with Us, a nonprofit dedicated to materially helping Ukrainians living in war-impacted regions.
