Anna Armstrong, Class of 2024
Anna Armstrong, ’24, is a full-time community reporter at The Press Democrat in Sonoma County, covering city government and issues that matter most to communities around the North Bay. A proud Spring 2024 UC Berkeley graduate, Anna credits the Daily Cal with launching her career.
During her time at the Daily Cal, she served as a news reporter, deputy editor, university news editor and eventually did a stint as the managing editor. She also served on the board’s Hall of Fame committee, helping honor alumni who have made lasting contributions to journalism.
After graduating from Cal, Anna served as a business reporting intern at the Minnesota Star Tribune.
